Flagpole Accessories, Finials, Rings and Spreaders

Because we make such a wide range of flagpoles, we also supply the accessories that go with them. Decorative finials for the top of the pole are available in many designs, and can be produced to your own drawing. Flag rings, which attach the flag to the pole, come in different versions for indoor and outdoor flagpoles. Flag spreader brackets hold the flag open for a better display, and again we offer several options. For wall-mounted flagpoles we also supply a range of bases and mounting brackets.

Accessories can be ordered individually or supplied as a complete kit with your flagpoles. Tell us your flagpole model and we will confirm the right rings, brackets and fittings.

Brackets and Mounts: Wall, Multi-Angle and Banner

Wall and surface mounting is where most display failures start, so brackets are engineered rather than simply bent into shape. Our adjustable-angle wall mount bracket for aluminium flagpoles lets the pole sit vertically or at an angle away from the wall, which matters where a facade, awning or sign would otherwise foul the flag. The indoor metal hanging spreader bracket holds indoor flags open and flat for lobby and reception use, while the multi-angle banner bracket positions a banner for a single pole run.

All three are supplied in aluminium alloy with a powder-coated or anodised finish. Fixings are quoted with the bracket so that installers are not left guessing on site.

Halyards, Pulleys and Flag Rings

The halyard system decides how a flag behaves in wind and how long it lasts. Pulley kits reduce friction and rope wear, so the halyard runs cleanly when the flag is raised and lowered, and rings take the load where the flag meets the rope. We supply pulley accessory kits for outdoor display plus metal and plastic flag rings in matched pairs – metal where durability and appearance matter, plastic where the priority is cost per unit on a high-volume promotional order.

Rings and pulleys are sized to the halyard and the tube diameter on your pole, so order them against the same specification rather than by appearance alone.

Bases, Ground Sockets and Finials

Bases and sockets carry the static and wind load, so the choice follows the pole height and the ground condition rather than the look of the product: cross bases and weighted bases for portable and indoor display, ground sockets and spigots for permanent installation, and finials to close the top of the tube and finish the appearance. Base and socket options run from roughly 1 kg up to about 12 kg, with a different format at each weight band, so a light indoor base and an exposed-site outdoor base can both be specified from the same range. We quote base and socket options alongside the pole so that the specification is complete before it ships.

Rebuilding an Accessory Range for Your Market

Distributors rarely need a single fitting – they need an accessory shelf. Because accessories are small, they consolidate well with flagpole and tent cartons and they lift the value of an order without adding much freight. Typical accessory programmes include a starter mix of rings, brackets, halyards and bases, retail-ready polybag or carton packaging, and your own labelling or barcode. Accessory programmes run without a minimum on most stock lines, and printing your own design onto an existing accessory specification carries no minimum either. Where a new fitting has to be made, a minimum applies and it starts at around 500 pieces.

Can you match an accessory to a pole I already sell?

Yes. Send the pole diameter, wall thickness, the halyard or ring size you use now, and a photo of the fitting. We measure against that and quote a matching item.

Are accessories available separately from poles?

Yes, either as original supply with a pole order or as standalone spare-part orders for a range you already run.

What is the minimum order for customised accessories?

Stock accessories carry no minimum on most lines, and artwork-only customisation has no minimum either. A minimum applies only where new hardware has to be made — a custom pole or a custom fitting — and it starts at around 500 pieces, stated with the rest of the quotation.

What weights are available for bases and ground sockets?

Options run from about 1 kg up to around 12 kg across different base and socket formats, so the weight is chosen against the pole height and the site rather than the look of the product.

How fast can accessories ship?

Stock products ship within 3–7 days depending on warehouse availability, artwork-customised items such as beach flags take around 7–12 days, and large production runs around 20 days. Samples take 1–7 days depending on complexity.
